7. Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport
Opened in August 2022, Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport is a full-service hotel owned by Long Plain First Nation. It is located on the first urban reserve in Winnipeg; the Long Plain Madison Reserve on Treaty 1 territory. Its proximity to the airport and other attractions, including Assiniboine Park, make it the perfect place for visitors to rest their head while learning more about Indigenous culture and hospitality.
While in Whiteshell Provincial Park, set aside some time to walk among these sacred formations, used by the Anishinaabe to educate, tell stories, and record history.
