    Seller Registration Policies

    Cancellations

In the unfortunate event you need to cancel once you’ve registered for Rendez-vous Canada, we ask you to submit cancellation and refund requests in writing to the Rendez-vous Canada Project Office. Cancellations received by March 17, 2023 will be refunded in full minus a $100 CAD processing fee.* Regrettably, refunds will not be granted for requests received after March 17, 2023.

*Credit cards will be processed within three (3) business days of receipt of request for refund. Cheque refunds may not be processed until after Rendez-vous Canada 2023.

    Substitutions

Substitutions are accepted at any time and can be submitted by the Primary Company contact through the MyRVC Portal free of charge. Substitution requests submitted to the RVC Project Office must be submitted by the Primary Contact or the Seller who is no longer able to attend and are subject to a $50 CAD processing fee.

**Where applicable, appointment schedules will automatically transfer from the original Delegate to the substitute Seller.

Your Name Badge is Your All-Access Pass

Badges, bearing individual and registered organizations’ names and country of operation are required to gain entry to all Rendez-vous Canada functions. Badges are non-transferable, must be visible always and may not be defaced or altered with business cards, pins, or stickers.

Lost or misplaced badges are subject to a $200 CAD reprint fee.

    Guests/Accompanying Persons Policy

Your individual registration gives you all access to Rendez-vous Canada’s full schedule of events. Unfortunately, guests, colleagues, spouses, family members, VIPs or accompanying persons are not permitted access to any Rendez-vous Canada facilities, events, functions or activities unless they too are registered participants or have been specifically authorized by the host of a function and have approval by Rendez-vous Canada organizing team. Rendez-vous Canada does not sell individual tickets to functions, events, activities, etc.

    Right to Review Participation

Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) reserves the right to review both an individual organization’s participation at Rendez-vous Canada and the Selection Criteria on an annual basis to ensure it is consistent with current conditions and trends. Appeals, in writing, to decisions can be made to Destination Canada who will appoint three Committee members to review the decision.

The number of requested appointments and total appointments from the previous year’s Rendez-vous Canada are determining factors for continued participation in Rendez-vous Canada. TIAC, Destination Canada and provincial and territorial coordinators reserve the right to establish performance thresholds as a method of managing access to participation in Rendez-vous Canada.

As part of the registration process, all participants must agree to adhere to the Policies and Procedures and abide by the Code of Conduct of Rendez-vous Canada.
